May 24, 2025   A Lazy RAINY Day. The weather we were expecting and packed for finally arrived. We had a day of on and off rain that affected when we planned our outings and how many for the day. We stayed in town and did some minor shopping between raindrops, played cards and board games, and ate all our meals at home. Rod and I talked the kids into watching Goonies, thinking it was necessary pop culture information they should have, and realized we didn't like it much the second time around either. Too much screaming!   The Scottish sky we were expecting to see. A rainbow!

May 23, 2025   A Trip to Glencoe With a Stop at Hagrid's Hut Glencoe was the destination, but what fun is a road trip without stopping for a few sights along the way?  A bridge spotted from the car on the drive to Glencoe.  May 22, 2025   Aaron to the Edinburgh Airport 😘 Our time with Aaron had come to a close. He was gracious enough to be Rod's navigator in the front seat during most of his time in Scotland, thereby giving me the opportunity to move to the back seat with Paul and Clare and enjoy a sightseeing role. Thank you Aaron!   See you in a week! xoxo He looks ready to navigate his international trip home all alone. We did some shopping on and off all day and spent time in King's Park sitting on a bench people/dog watching and enjoying the weather. After a tuna melt dinner at home, we played Nertz and watched some Young Sheldon before turning in.  Clare and Paul Rod Old people selfie time! Clare did some sketching and Rod did some exploring.
